Osei Baffour Frimpong is the Regional Researcher at the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) and also provides conflict analysis support to the Early Warning Department in the area of environmental security. Osei holds an MA in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana and a BA in English/Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he was also a Teaching and Research Assistant from 2008-2009. Between 2013 and 2014, he was a VLIR-UOS Scholar at the University of Antwerp, Belgium where he obtained a Master of Science Degree in Governance and Development from the Institute of Development Policy and Management (IOB). Osei has over seven years’ experience in Conflict Analysis, Peacebuilding and Governance. Prior to joining WANEP, he was actively engaged as a Researcher and Analyst on Peace, Security and Governance at the Knowledge Management Unit of LECIAD.
