Beatrice Anowah Brew is Research and Capacity Building Officerat the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP).
She joined WANEP in July 2015 and conducts and/or participates in research projects and contribute contents to relevant publications and discourses both within and outside the organisation on conflict prevention and peacebuilding. She also coordinates the West Africa Peacebuilding Institute (WAPI) which is the flagship training program for WANEP.
Beatrice holds a BA Geography & Resource Development and Psychology in from the University of Ghana, Legon and will receive an MA in in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs (LECIAD), Legon in July 2016. Her MA dissertation assessed Ghana’s Prospects of Growth in light of Michael E. Porter’s Model of National Advantage with particular focus on Ghana’s cocoa industry.
Prior to joining WANEP, she worked as a research assistant on a research project on the Responsbility to Protect (R2P) with WANEP, as a graduate research assistant at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD) and as an Account Executive with Brands and Products (now Verdant Zeal).
