Anna N’gulu Jones joined WANEP-The Gambia in April 2011 as Project Assistant. In June, 2012, she was appointed Programme Officer, a position she maintained until her appointment as Acting National Network Coordinator in September, 2015.

Anna studied International Relations at Webster University as an undergraduate student and has certificates in Conflict Analysis and Mediation and Conflict Prevention from Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center, as well as a certificate on Peacebuilding Programme Design, Monitoring and Evaluation and National Resource Governance and Human Security from the West Africa Peacebuilding Institute.

She is currently enrolled in a certificate program on Project Evaluation for Democracy and Governance and Conflict Mitigation Projects at University of Pittsburgh sponsored by USAID through The Mitchell Group (TMG).
