Ms Marguerite YOLI BI KONE is since 2005 the national coordinator of the West Africa Network for Peace building in Côte d’Ivoire (WANEP-CI). Previously, she has also been in charge of WIPNET program. Years before she was in charge of programs’ management at WANEP-CI.
She was educated at the Teachers’ national school (ENS) of Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) where she completed a Master in Education Sciences (Major: Psychology of education). She also obtained a BA in Zoology at the National University of Abidjan after a CAPES degree in Biology completed at the Teachers’ national school of Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire).
After so many years of experience in working with Civil society activists, Ms Marguerite YOLI BI has acquired a strong hands-on experience in Projects and programs management, in fundraising and projects setting up, in training of peacebuilding, Conflicts’ prevention , non violence and management, in Strategic planning, Elections’ observation, gender issues . She is also a teacher in Biology and Geology since 1990 in secondary and high school.
In the scope of her activities with civil society activities, Ms Marguerite YOLI-BI has released a simplified document translating into images the United Nations resolution 1325 and the CEDAW(Convention for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women). She is also the author of a translation into images of training materials intended to women in peaceful management of conflict (WIPNET program)
Mme Marguerite YOLI-BI Koné est depuis 2005 la coordinatrice nationale du Réseau Ouest Africain pour Edification de la Paix (WANEP-CI). Elle fut chargée du programme WIPNET en 2004. Les 2 années précédentes, elle fut la directrice des programmes de WANEP-CI.
Elle est diplômée en sciences naturelles de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) d’Abidjan (cote d’ivoire) où elle fait un doctorat en sciences de l’Education option psychologie actuellement. Elle est enseignante des lycées et collèges en biologie géologie depuis 1990.
Apres plusieurs années d’expériences de travail comme activiste de la société civile, Mme YOLI-BI KONE a acquis une solide expérience en gestion des projets et programmes ; elle est formatrice en gestion et prévention des conflits, en éducation à la paix et a la non violence chez les enfants et les jeunes, en genre, planification stratégique, observation électorale, et droits humains.
Elle a contribué à la vulgarisation par la simplification et traduction en images de la R 1325 des Nations Unies et de la CEDEF (Convention sur l’Elimination de toutes les formes de Discrimination à l’Egard des Femmes)ainsi que à la traduction en images du manuel de formation des femmes à la gestion pacifique des conflits de WIPNET.
