Osei Baffour Frimpong is currently the WANEP Regional Conflict Analyst on Environmental Security. The Ghanaian National holds an MA in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana and BA in English/Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he was also a Teaching and Research Assistant from 2008-2009. Between 2013 and 2014, he was a VLIR-UOS Scholar at the University of Antwerp, Belgium where he obtained a Master of Science Degree in Governance and Development from the prestigious Institute of Development Policy and Management (IOB). Osei has over six years’ experience in Conflict Analysis, Peacebuilding and Governance. Prior to joining WANEP, he was actively engaged as a Researcher and Analyst on Peace, Security and Governance at the Knowledge Management Unit of LECIAD as well as in other organizations.
